Many of the Health and Human Service organizations in Western New York provide a broad range of service options designed to meet the needs of the region’s transportation disadvantaged, including persons with disabilities, veterans, individuals with lower incomes and older adults.

COORDINATION RESOURCES

Coordination of transportation resources can reduce transportation expenses for health and human services and provide more service to a greater number of people. The following national organizations strive to increase transportation options for older adults, individuals with disabilities and persons with limited incomes by providing coordination strategies and best practices, planning resources, news on accessible transportation from around the country, funding information and training opportunities.
